Pepco Update

 

Jerry Pasternak is Pepco Region Vice President, Maryland.  In that capacity, he serves as Pepco’s primary liaison to political, business, community, non-profit and consumer leaders throughout the company’s Maryland service territory.

From 1994 to 2006, Jerry served as Special Assistant to Montgomery County Executive Doug Duncan.  As the senior political and policy advisor to the County Executive, Jerry contributed strategies for public policy decisions and provided oversight, guidance and direction to ensure successful implementation of policy objectives for more than 25 departments and agencies within the county.  Among his more notable achievements, Jerry helped engineer the redevelopment of Silver Spring and the development of the Music Center at Strathmore, the Montgomery County Conference Center, and Rockville Town Center.

Before joining Pepco, Jerry was Director of Government Affairs and Senior Counsel at a law firm in Bethesda, where he lobbied on behalf of clients at the state, county and municipal levels.

Jerry graduated with a BA degree in Political Science from New York City’s Yeshiva University.  He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California School of Law and a Masters of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University.
