I am a relative newcomer to the area, having arrived from Iowa in August. I have a decade of experience working in social services, and have recently joined Boys Town Washington DC as Development Director. I hope to share with your club my own story of the arduous climb from poverty to community servant, and the importance of the social support network that is the reason we have all joined Rotary in the first place.”
