Paul D. McDermott is Professor Emeritus at Montgomery College. He is the author of seven books and the only community college visiting scholar at the Geography and Map Division of the Library of Congress. He will be coming with an illustrated presentation on the C&O Canal. He has prepared maps of the canal that will be available for purchase at the meeting.
