Rose Krasnow served two terms on the Rockville City Council and three terms as Rockville Mayor. She was Director of the Montgomery County United Way, Chief of Development Review at the Maryland National Park & Planning Commission, and in 2013 became the Deputy Director. Rose managed the Zoning Code Rewrite team, overseeing an effort that led to the adoption of a new zoning code in October of 2014. She is currently a candidate for County Executive.
