About Musa Kamara

I am Musa Kamara, a project management professional, social impact entrepreneur, and a student in the Pivot Program at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business. I was born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland. My fervent passion for bringing information and resources to underserved communities has been a guiding light in my life. As the Community Chair for Rotary in Washington, DC, I have coordinated successful events with local organizations, further igniting my dedication to community service.

As a former board member for Project 232, I've organized community events, developed programs, and led successful fundraising initiatives. Notably, with Huda Strategies, I planned and executed four galas focused on social impact and community development. These galas significantly increased awareness for our cause, inspiring others to join our mission. I am currently Director of Members for FASD United – leading Affiliates initiatives in programming, communications, and development.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, working out, traveling, and watching football (I’m a big Manchester City fan – Go Blue!). Some of my favorite books are The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Contagious by Jonah Berger, and Ego Is the Enemy by Ryan Holiday.
